Split Screen
Split screen is when the screen is split to show more than one image. For example: one half of the screen could show your POV, while that other half could show your friends POV. This an help to show more of what is happening in the video and show more than one POV. An example is Aerosmith and RUN-DMC's 'Walk This Way', where we can see the two points of view.
Colourisation
This is a process that adds colour to a black and white image. This is an effect that can add more effect to a video.
CGI
CGI is an abbreviation of 'Computer Generated Images', this can involve adding images to a video and adding people to backgrounds that wouldn't normally be there.

Camera Movement

Crab
This is the less common term used for tracking. it involves following the object/character from a side angle following them down a road/path/lane etc.
Dolly
This is a shot which uses a track to pull backwards. this allows for a more smoother zoom or pull back. It can also be used to follow something flying or travelling towards you.
Pan
This shot pivots on a spot, which allows you to look left and right from one spot. This can be used to establish a setting.
Tilt 
This shot pivots up and down. This can allow you to look through the eyes of a character looking up, and also can be used to look down on something.
Track
This shot is similar to the dolly shot. However, it is stays at a constant distance from the action and can be used to simulate running and struggles from the side as we see what is happening.
